ABOUT FRIENDS OF THE PRESERVE
Friends of The Preserve is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit formed with the goal of protecting and encouraging the bond between a family of remarkable elephants, and their human companions and caretakers in mind. This bond is decades long and allows others to share in the wonder of these beautiful animals.
Friends of The Preserve collects donations to support the educational programs and community outreach at The Preserve. The Elephant Experience and Animal Expedition are educational animal encounters hosted by The Preserve and receive no funding from Friends of The Preserve.
SUPPORT OUR LEARNING CENTER:
- Presenting educational opportunities and field trip experiences for school children
- Facilitating healing for veterans and their families by allowing animals to touch hearts and minds
- Cultivating partnerships with university veterinary and agricultural programs
- Supporting a venue for the education of elephant managers and veterinary professionals
- Providing internships for the advancement of animal care both domestically and internationally
